IMX brings together parts and service companies, repair specialists, marine contractors and a host of other inland marine service providers. This year’s show will host more than 250 exhibitors and includes an observance of National Maritime Day, a riverfront reception, and numerous educational sessions presented by top industry experts and nationally recognized speakers.

Simplex Americas LLC (SALLC) is excited to return to IMX, showcasing their products and discussing the needs of their inland customers. Simplex Americas offers a full-line of marine propulsion equipment and services, extending from the main engine to the propeller. SALLC has forged long term partnerships in order to provide the best equipment, engineering, sales, and services to their customers.

SALLC will be set up at booth number 811, proudly showcasing their SIMPLAN shaft seals for fast ferries, yachts, workboats and other vessels with water-lubricated stern tubes. These shaft seals, in both bronze and GRP execution, provide long-lasting and trouble free service, primarily because the silicon carbide material is not affected by sediment or sand. SALLC also supplies “NoLo” composite rudder bearings, steering linkage bearings, thrust washers and spherical bearings. SALLC is the North American marine solution specialist for all SKF products including Oil Injection Shaft Couplings, Vibracon Mounting chocks and SuperGrip Bolts.

Don Vogler, Simplex Americas’ President and a graduate of U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, said in his comments about this event, “We look forward to attending and sponsoring the IMX again this year. This event is a great opportunity to see and visit with our customers in this region.”
